3. Subscription Terms

Free Tier

Users may access a limited selection of books and features at no cost. Free tier includes 84 books and basic functionality.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscription costs $8.99 per month or $85 per year (save 21%). Premium includes:

• Access to all 304+ books
• Unlimited AI chat interactions
• Personal notes and PDF export
• Advanced AI recommendations
• Early access to new features

4. Payment and Billing

Subscription payments are processed through our payment provider. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize charges for your selected subscription plan. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid period.

No refunds are provided for partial months or unused portions of your subscription, except as required by law or specified in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use House of Books only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security measures
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Violate intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual Property

All content on House of Books, including book summaries, AI responses, and platform design, is owned by us or our content partners and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. User-Generated Content

By contributing content to our community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving our service. You retain ownership of your original content.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

House of Books is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
