• Payment Processing: PayPal processes subscription payments — we never see or store your card/bank details
• Database & Authentication: Supabase stores your account, reading progress, notes, and chat history, and handles login (magic link / Google sign-in)
• Hosting: Vercel hosts the app and its server functions
• AI Chat & Summaries: Your book-chat messages are sent to our AI provider (NVIDIA-hosted models) to generate responses; they are not used to build an advertising profile of you
• Audio Narration: Book summary text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate narration audio
• Transactional Email: Resend sends purchase receipts and account emails on our behalf
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary:

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active
• Reading Data: Preserved to maintain your reading history and progress
• Deleted Accounts: Personal information is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
