If you are an author, publisher, or rights holder and believe a summary on House of Books misrepresents your work, reproduces your text too closely, or you would simply prefer it removed, we will act promptly.
Request removal or correction
Email us with:
- The book title and author
- What you'd like changed (removal, correction, or attribution)
- Confirmation you are the author, publisher, or an authorized representative
We aim to respond within 5 business days and will remove or correct the content while we review the request.
Our approach
- Summaries are original, AI-written explanations of a book's themes and ideas — not reproductions of the book's text.
- We do not host or provide access to the full text of any copyrighted book.
- Cover images are sourced from public book-data providers (e.g. Open Library) for identification purposes only.
